True, I guess you can see it as an investment for the future.
But then with the amunt of money some of these people have, i wonder why they don't just start up a label or company with some money as an investment as opposed to selling their image.
Someone like Mos has so much going for him. He could open up a line of clothing, series of restaurants, produce films... I dont see the need to sell it out.
MC Hammer and Flav are a little different... firstly, they didnt have as much going for them. Second at the time of theri fame they didnt have the same choices that musicians / actors have now.
