  It's a real task for me to not write a song that could ever be labeled emo.
  That's why I write about:
  Plane crashes
  Submarine research
  Seeing a girl sans clothing for the first time
  Death from heroin OD

  And, my favorite, inspired by the book War of the Worlds, our song "Profit & Panic" about holding back from fleeting, rabid sex in the face of death at the hands of alien machines staring you down as you hide in a corn field.
