scarabin... no way.
resources are easier to come by then you think. We could be using natural, harmless, and sustainable resources quite easily right now if the controlling populace willed it. Hydrogen power could change everything. The people making the loot off fossil fuel wont let it die and they have the old money to make sure it doesnt.
There are way to many solutions but they don't benifit those in power, they benifit those who are suffering right now.. .the people who dont have a voice.
And a lot of these "weaker" people you speak of might have a more powerful wthic and spirit than you do, so dont be quick to judge.
