did you know that the reason starbucks coffee tastes burnt is because they actually burn the beans for a uniform flavor?
they use a really good bean (that takes too long for them to grow) and an inferior bean that they can more quickly grow. they taste totally different. so to save money and time they mix them together which would have a really shitty flavor, so... they burn the beans a bit to give it a more uniform flavor.
i always wondered why all their coffee tasted burned.
if any of you can ever get your hands on illy coffee it is unreal good. but at 24 bucks a pound a bit pricey.
