It's not over until it's over. In fact, it's really just begun.
There's still a chance that the United States could get its ass spanked in Iraq. Wars aren't decided by technological superiority and strength or arms alone.
As an American, I'm torn. I don't want any harm to come to any American soldiers (my father is a veteran), but, at the same time, I see my government behaving like the geopolitical equivalent of the local belligerent drunken asshole. Sometimes, even if the local belligerent drunken asshole is your father or brother, you almost wish that someone would beat the living hell out of them the next time they start their crap in the hope that they it might be a wakeup call for them.
