design has it's purpose, people will do what they feel comfortable with...but you can't make sweeping comments like "self indulgence is littering the design industry with crap". No it's not. It's down to your choice, ultimately - all I'm saying is, is that maybe we should become more human about it. Maybe we should say a big FUCK YOU to all car advertising that tries to sell big arse SUVs to inner city rich boys. What the hell? How do people get away with that? And how can a desigenr make the excuse that they are just doing it to get paid, or be creative? There are no innocent bystanders. In the words of Faithless - "Inaction is a weapon of Mass Destruction"
