yeah, what the rest of the guys said above. i bought mine of ipodbattery.com for $30 (which includes shipping) and installed it myself.
hardest part was opening the case, but now my battery lasts sometimes over 10 hours. seriously worth it. i have heard bad things about it, but i was just willing to take the risk since i had no warranty and having the thing play for at the most 45 minutes was just pointless.
