Semi-related story.
One of my coworkers doesn't like it when one of us listens to music too loud. And one of my other coworkers used to play music very loud.
This first coworker, a very solid developer, built a little program to play various amusing little wav sounds (farting noises, the backstreet boys, etc) over the network whenever the volume got turned up too loud.
Eventually myself, a third coworker and my boss were let in on the little joke. We've since let the original dude in on it (he was very mad), but now we've been playing the joke on the new guy pretty much since October.
I guess he's not really the new guy anymore. But its still pretty damn funny.
