    wait for 2 days until the client calls back, asking how they can update the site themselves...
    Blather on and on about DNSzones, cache poisoning and even buffer underwrites if you can be bothered, explaining that changes to the site will make it vulnerable to spyware and pop-besides (the new malevolent version of popups).
    Then, 'just remember' that you have a php-based interface that you might be able to let them have, depending on what your boss on the other line says. Let them hear you pleading with the boss to have this turnkey update solution, and leave with a fat check.
