You're all so desperately wrong!!
Unless you have absolutely no love for rural small towns and can only be happy in a soul-less large city, then perhaps ottawa isn't for you...
I lived there for just under a year, and if I was forced to live in a large city again I would choose it over any other. It's the only big city where you can feel like you might be in a smaller town.
And unlike Toronto people aren't to stuck up to look you in the eyes and smile, or hold the door open for you.
Sorry to be so hostile... but I love that city. All of my hardest partying happened right there in the market.
It's just too bad their hockey team sucks so baadly.
