    haha i knew it! :)

    anyways.

    1. uv ink has been done. it cause too much allergic reactions / has doubtful pigments.

    2. branding, scaring, cutting etc. is as old as tattooing. still underground but getting more apparent although it'll take ages before that hit the catwalks. what's new is insertion of metal objects beneath the skin. oddest thing is saw was a screw on metal spiked mohawk (the screw parts where partially under the skin). anyways all that you will see more often in the future.

    3. eyelid tattoos has already been done. russian prisoners with a murder status tend to have those (it basically meanse that even if i sleep i'm still dangerous).

    4. you simplify the culture and history too much. there are too many different cultures with it's own rituals. that plus everyone is getting more global and open for other cultures, in other words, the clan, the tribe, especially in the western world is getting watered down / spread out. the only thing that keeps it together are cultural traditions of which tattoos can be one.

    5. i totally agree that one should get tattooed for oneself and not for others. that's a very stupid reason.
