The web is free to use. So why should people cater to downloading something.
And, 10 minutes is untrue.
Not everyone uses broadband. Downloading in current browser on modem will take over an hour.
Not to mention WIFI.
The majority of Mid-west users can't get broadband access where they live. What about them? That's an entire region excluded.
Besides, it doesn't take 10 days to upload a parser script. And, it takes much less time to code a web site in well-formed xhtml than in poorly written html 4.
Especially since the content and style are separate.
Even Flash can be made accessible.
And, if any flash site is database driven (via xml or mysql) then the content is available in text format as well...
Small changes in the way web designers develop sites is all it takes.
