I havent been to Cabo San Lucas, although my parents say it is a beautiful place, and for the pictures I have seen it really looks like it. They say it is like a little city next to the beach and everyone is really corteous.

Mexico city - well I dont have much more to say than to remember that you will be in the middle of 25,000,000 other people (the biggest city in the world) where cops dont care to much for your security (althoght they say they do) and you can buy your way out of almost anything (sad but true).

Do go to bars or clubs at night unless you know who you are going with and you trust your companions.

I havent been to cancun. But i have couple of frieds whose their parents are Managers from Hotels there. You dont use Pesos in Cancun, dollars only so you should not have problems with the money exchange.

Oh that is another good subject (Money Exchange - this is for Mexico city only). I dont know where you are going to exchange your money from US Dollars to Pesos(Mexican Currency) But I would suggest to do it here in the USA. dont expect just to walk down to the bank and come out counting all the pesos you got with few hundred dollars. they might be gone from your hand sooner than you think.

Never count your money in public.

Carry the minimum un your wallet

Dont carry Credit cards, just an ID and cash.

if you need your back pack to walk around the city try to carry it on your front, will avoid the desire to take it away from you.

keep your cash in your front pockets.

Now, all the above apply if you are in Mexico city. IM sure Cancun is cool as well as Cabo San lucas.

Anyways. gl and I hope you have fun!
