  given the option of choosing a multipage site, vs. a 1-page site, both containing the same work, and both created with the same amount of care and skill, which design wins?

  like, all other things being equal --from a shear usability and attracting work point-of-view-- does the 1-pager
  actually have a benefit.

  or is it just a fad?

  not looking for a set in stone answer, just thought I'd encourage some dialogue.
