One way is to get your virus definitions from another computer, burn them on cd, install them on yours, disconnect your PC, run in safe mode and do Norton. You should also download HijackThis. It looks for files that may be doing something illegal. Bacause i guess even when Norton says it removes them your comp downloads it again. I think some trojan is sitting in your PC. Check your Firewall settings. Look what prgs are allowed to connect, remove everything that is not normal.
But the easiest is to back-up, format, install, update, firewall, Norton, update, Full system scan. Takes you a day but its a lot easier. Because some viruses use your comps to spread and uses your comps resources to do it.
