top 10 personal reasons for moving (not in order):
1) love the bay area for it's landscape, unique places, culture, etc.
2) love the proximity to good climbing and national parks. (yosemite within 4 hours)
3) surfing santa cruz is only 40 minutes to an hour or so away
4) big sur is unbelievable
5) skiing in tahoe
6) can get up to napa, or even further to friends in oregon. (as opposed to san diego - another place i was looking - where your comparably isolated from other fun stuff)
7) ocean, mountains in one place
8) looking for a change from midwest life - one with better scenery
9) girls with flowers in their hair (according to led zeppelin)
10) bay area has more jobs that santa cruz, and big sur area.
