i'm moving to the bay area in mid-may. still don't have a place to live. where would you ideally live in the bay area?
i'm thinking either san francisco proper, or the peninsula (just south of the city).

So many cool areas in and around the city. If I was single, close to Haight for obvious reasons.
Hope you have a lot of money, you have a job out there yet? Good luck!
:P

i suppose i needed to wait until the west coast woke up before posting.
yes, i'm single. no, i don't know much about the area. no, i don't have a job.

why would you move to the bay area... there are no jobs here..
and its expensive to live here.run away...
- xrusos0
what about another option... across the bay in places like freemont, hayward, etc.
can i live there but work in the city, or on the peninsula?
(i think it could be less expensive, right?)
is there anything to do there?

not to be mean man..but if www.small-fish.com is your portfolio... I would consider not moving to SF and save you the dissapointment.

:) no, it's not.

where is your port
- xrusos0
not done yet. i am in the midst of 3 projects, so when they are up it'll be complete. i won't be able to start work until june 1st, so until it gets closer, i'm just looking for a place to live, not a job just yet.

why does your resume say you already live in SF
- xrusos0
i have a friend that lives there that i'm using to base my search out of so i don't get red flagged before they read my resume... i'm currently in chicago.
- xrusos0
thanks vellan. encouragement is good when i'm leaving a good job to live in a cooler place with limited jobs
