Although I am sad to see any business go under, especially one in a field that captivates so much interest for myself, one has to recognize... that is if you have ever taken notice of these publications, that greedy people are behind them all.
Take any number of Ed's books or Cre@te Online for instance. I don't know how many times I have seen the same articles or the same text reprinted in a different book or issue of a different mag published by the same company. What happened to fresh content and new insights??
One has to ask... Is it the publishing companies desire to saturate the market that has driven them into the ground?
