okay, seriously
if you're going to frame your picture, why not only frame the picture itself, so the white spaces are outside your frame?
another thing, your frame isn't 100% solid (left side). make it 1px black or something.
and frame the thumbnails too.and some pictures look like they're too bright

you're the photographer, but in my opinion a photo has to contain 100% white AND 100% black somewhere.
and maybe make a better selection. for example the older woman, she's in there 3 times. 2 times a similar portrait, and another time her hands.
is it the same project? maybe give some information with your pictures.the picture of her hands is great by the way.
