I dont mean to say, draw a bulldozer on there or anything, but maybe just a change of typeface, those are a little too consumery, so I think 'suntan lotion' or something. To be honest, bearing function and brief in mind rather than pure aesthetic, I am more drawn to the 'blob' on 1 but I would make the shape a more dynamic shape more akin to a guitar plectrum, and maybe choose a san serif font that is quite humanist without being too consumery.
