nice weather (except for summer, it gets awfully fucking hot and humid)
gorgeous beaches
drunk girls during springbreak
topless italian girls sunbathing in Playa del Carmen
relatively safe
hmm... that's about it.minuses:
drunk guys during springbreak
stupid tourists
zero culture (places or activities)
lotsa shifty business and weird money laundering ventures
hurricanes
no design scene to speak of
bugs the size of mice
relatively expensive.But I'm moving to Mexico city next month:
Pluses:
-Crazy city (NYC times 2)
-lots to do
-you can find anything here, I don't care what it is you're looking for
-never a dull moment
-beautiful architecture
-lots of history
-lots of museums
-cheap to live
-biggest city in the worldminuses:
-crazy earthquakes
-more crime than NYC
-horrendous traffic
-terrible air pollution
-biggest city in the world
