plus points for canada...
1) most people seem to like us
2) we get along just fine with the rest of the world
3) if countries were cartoon characters...we'd be charlie brown
4) everybody likes charlie brown
5) best beer in north america
6) best maple syrup too (had to put that in...folks here dont actually use it all the time, but the way we export it, you'd think we were guzzling it like cheap wine)
7) super low crime rate, and pretty high standard of living
8) several consecutive years on the charts as the best country in the world to live
9) thriving graphics scene...(depending on what city you move too)
10) MULTI CULTURAL!!! everyone is representing here...
which means a ton of world class looking guys and girls (depending on which way ya swing) -wink-
11)the US film industry is now parked in Toronto
more stars per square inch here shooting movies, than anywhere else..bad points for living in Canada
1) it's really really really cold here in the winter..
2) its' like a bastad offspring of england, france and the US...
we're a little like all of em....but totally original in that way...
5) my math sucks
6) lotsa other silly reasons why you might not like canada...but the cold and the snow pretty much cover the worst of it...
except for the killing humidity in the summer...
oh my god it sucks...
I've seen peole from africa and india say 'holy crap...i thought it was hot at home!' after an august here in toronto..hope this list helps...
oh..
one final reason...we're not likely to declare war on anyone, ever, for as long as we live...
which is nice..
