I would say I fall in between roark & nmdtht.
I admire someone who has genuine passion and informed ideas on a topic.
from a design perspective, the work shown was not interesting.he still didnt provide a solution or plan of action. everyone working in the field (I hope) questions their actions & if what they do adds value to the world.
he should quit design as he mentioned a friend told him to do early in his speech. as it obviously gives him no satisfaction.
disappointed & definitely would not go see him speak again
