i don't think it was all that bad. definately would have been nice if he had taken time to update the presentation.the work he showed was solid. i wouldn't say epochal or even totally memorable, but so many images flash in front of my face, it's hard to take them all in. that's not brody's fault.
and his response to the question "so what are you doing to save the world?" was totally appropriate. that kid was trying to one-up a guy who plainly admitted he's not a hero, he's not a philanthropist - just a guy who does design and feels compelled to stop and think about what the value of his work and life is. that i totally respect. even if he's not saving the world, he's questioning his own motives and actions. and maybe even provoking others to do the same.
