If you're really into serious travellin'/movin and want to be 'light', buy iPod Shuffle or else go for iPod Mini. Normal iPod is just to big, but normal iPod helps you in term of mobile 'hardrive' (external hardisk). I like to use it both, for music and file storage. And once you buy this, please buy a protect case... it's pathetically insane to drop your ipod and see crack and stretches here and there.
I use Creative MuvoSlim for the best of functionality (equalizer/managing tracks or folders/FM radio), including voice recordings (for interviews, etc) and I also got an iPod (for the sake of 'design' and culture). It’s handy. I got a cassatte adapter and whenever I’m drivin’, I just connect iPod or my Muvo to my car, it’s cool.
