Cos girls tend to like hot guys. I hope you're not on the short side, girls like tall guys. Work on ur buttocks, girls like nice bums. Get a cool hair cut, some cool clothes that make u look too good for them. Slap some nice smelling stuff on. Make sure u have nice shiny straight white teeth. Girls like shiny straight white teeth. Don't look nervous, girls smell fear.
It's ok to be drunk, as long as you're hot, and don't come on too sleazy.
Impress them with a tattoo that requires exposing ur six pack.
Don't talk too much. Girls don't like loud mouth guys. No one does. Just sit there and look pretty, allowing her to talk on and on (which girls love), just occassionally interjecting to ask a question, which will allow her to go on and on some more. Most of look pretty. Most of all, don't try hard to be funny, u'll look a fool and she wont take u seriously. But do make her laugh every once in a while.
