Mac displays are real nice, but they aren't the best for photographic work. If you have the space get a Sony Artisan (the best CRT out there right now) or a LaCie. If you're set on flat panel then maybe look at a new eizo or if money's no issue then get a IBM T221! It makes the mac displays look like kiddie play. It's native resolution is 3840x2400.
