my first real graphics job paid 23k (plus overtime).
i know that doesn't sound like a lot, but i had a great big apartment, i made car payments, paid off student loans, credit cards, and STILL had enough to throw cash in savings.
cost of living was really low (and still is where i am now) so when i thought about 23k not being a lot of money, i just had to stpo and consider how lucky i was to have a solid good job with benefits AND A FULL BELLY!!!time will increase your pay. if you make 5.15 an hour, then i can understand a little, but nowadays, take what you can get and keep looking in your spare time. experience = $$$. dig it.
oh, and if you want a job in the south east US, i might can hook you up. we are lookin for someone right now.
