  Excellent camera. But the spendings have just begun. The lenses are the expensive part :) Both canon kit lenses get not too enthusiastic reviews and you might want to look for upgrades.

  Sigma, Tamron and Tokina are available for most lens mount systems, including Canon EF

  BTW I'll be buying a Pentax *istDS and a Sigma 18-50 f/2.8, but if it weren't about the price and portability, I'd certainly get the 20D
