Thanks. You guys are great. I wish you could help me with the rest of the issues in my life.
For the record, I ended up getting the nachos, watching City of God (and laughing at Little Zane's curl), going for a long walk, and then--miraculously--stumbling across a high school girl's volleyball championship at the Sacramento Convention Center. There were dozens of teams, 20 games going on simultaneously, and chaos everywhere. I wandered around in a haze squinting in the bright lights, camera in hand, trying not to look like a complete perv as hundreds of blonde girls in ponytails and knee pads passed before me.
At one point a girl spiked the wall out of bounds and it came in my direction. When I ducked the ball smacked a grandmother right in the dome. It was then that I realized it was time to go.Anyway, that's that. I'm sure everybody can rest easy now.
