this is what you do: pool all the cash together that you can. dont stop until you get into the 5 thousand dollar range. then, hire john stamos (he seems accesible these days) to go with you to the shop. have him pick out a hair product and say 'this was the stuff i was telling you to get'. then you say something like 'john, what the fuck? you dragged me out of bed to recommend this shit!' and then storm out like he just wasted your time. next time you go in there, she'll think youre a player.
