Maybe the other NooYawkers on here can help out too (bump this tomorrow during the day).
If you can find a good rate, check out the Hudson Hotel on 58th St. I guarantee you'll never forget it (especially if you're into the whole postmodern interior design stuff). And location-wise, it's golden.
