I 'left' webdesign over two years ago to start co's. selling magic mushrooms.
Now I've come full-circle, doing all the web, print and branding for my companies as well as beginning a range of clothes (yes, me too - sorry).
I think the trick is not to get bored - once a designer, always a designer. The teaching thing in Japan is a good idea though, I'm thinking about doing something similar when the law changes here in the UK ;)
