god will you stop with the whole oil thing. i'm SO sick of it. g.w.b is a texan correct?!? he has stake in oil right?!? it is a fact that a vast majority of texans have some sort of stake in oil both foriegn and domestic, and if you tell them that this war is about oil they're going to laugh in your face. iraq is 7% of our oil. NOTHING! it is more of a matter of trade than it is we NEED their oil.
and if it was about oil why didn't we take it in 91-92 when we were on thier border? or why didn't we take all kuwaits oil? why? it's not about oil!
simple fact of the matter... you don't fear a country/superpower like russion or germany who possess nukes and w.o.m.d. you fear the madman and his followers who will gladly strap a bomb on their childs back and throw them on a bus.
one nuclear warhead detonated even 8 miles off the coast of the u.s. and we're screwed. and don't even tell me they won't or can't do it because you're dealing with a man who has killed and gassed his own, tortures and kills not only the person who opposes him (in his own country) but also will kill your family to make sure to end it once and for all.
you say he doesn't have any illegal weapons? you DID hear that they are destroying warheads and rockets that just two weeks ago they swore they didn't have! hmmm.... wonder what else they have?!?
