    To those who say anti-war protesters can't make a difference, this is another idea spread to back the notion that we must blindly obey those in power.

    Tony Blair may get flack in the UK for backing Bush but I think that without Blair we would already be at war (although yes we have never stopped bombing since the last war). The only reason why Blair has had to try and pursuade Bush to go to the UN is that all his MPs are finding that their constinuencies are writing to them (as I have) and telling them point blank that they will not vote for them again because of this. This gives MPs the resolve they need to say publically that they are against the war.

    Britiain is actually in a strong position at the moment - Bush needs an ally to back him, and if Blair did not back him Bush would find it difficult to go to war. Keep pressuring Blair and Bush.

    Don't lose your deep down conviction that killing innocent people is wrong. This can never be justified.
