maybe i was misunderstood. basically, the main reason for this raise in prices is the apparent lack of flats. but the thing is that there are enough flats here, and more are being built, but there's an big quantity of them that are simply empty.
so the result is people having more than one flat in barcelona and not renting them. so the one of the "interventions" will be a raise in taxes for people who have 2 empty flats (and a tax cut if you rent it).
things aren't black/white, socialism/capitalism... there are loads of shades.
