I met Austrian people in BCN. They let their Vienna apt. for €400/mo and thought it was quite expensive. When they arrived in BCN they realized it wasn't at all. After 2 months of searching they found a 3 bedroom (1nice, 2 small and dark) apt for around €850. It's not the nicest place, but they stick to it because it is a bargain, they say.
