barnburner, I read everything. All the way to "Remember that, and smile. Because that is America at war."
I am not shure if it is ironic or serious, really. Call me ignorant, but that 'essey' is crap, with no constructive ideas whatsoever in the debate of solving any conflict.
The only thing I would learn from that is the American way of thinking. And that is interresting.
