I found the commercial to be quite successful. Friends of mine that have seen it were all delighted by it, and it is most certainly getting the Sirius name out there. It brings an abstract concept - satellite radio - a futuristic, hip feel using such imagery. And it shows the diversity, instead of simply marketing to rock and classical, there is also hip hop on satellite radio, along with much more.

Its a commercial that gets stuck in your head through beautiful imagery, and isnt that what you want as an unknown company? To be in the minds of all these people, to get your name out.

What would you rather the commercial say? Have some video of a car driving down a country lane as some bach rolls out the window spilling over the countryside? Have them talk about the company? Sirius, founded in bla bla bla. Yeah thatll really keep peoples attention. They arent marketing to your grandpa.

And it wasnt photoshop or vector anything, its 3D.

Sorry if that comes off a little harsh, everyone ive spoken to about it liked the commercial a lot, and could identify it by my saying "Sirius," not "that commercial with the weird, blue, moving shapes."
