That's such a hard question to answer now-a-days.
You could either charge an hourly rate or charge a flat fee. It all depends on how good a friend you guys are and how experienced you are.
It also would depend on how detailed the site was going to be, and what technologies you would be using to create it...ie. Flash, ASP, PHP, CSS, etc.
There are so many factors involved that you can't just ask someone how much to charge to do a website anymore.
