Worked at a grocery store for my first job when I was 16.
When we'd put the eggs out (and everyone else there was a total cut-up) sometimes we would:
1) Break every egg in a carton, multiple cartons, and set them out on top of the stack.
2) Crack all the eggs into the egg holders and throw the shells away, so it's just egg insides in there.
3) I think once we just tossed out all the eggs and filled the carton with ground beef.
