GDP is still the best way to tell the wealth of a contry. No matter if you can buy rice for it or not.

I think that you, as much as I do, think that the greater amount of money pledged the better it is. But it's still interesting to put the figures in context with population. And as you mentioned Luxemburg haven't really lived up to what they can afford. But then it all adds up, they might be doing other good then just send money. Thanks for the discussion Cola :-)
