Well, if in your first respond adds that you need $500 from your uncle because your 2 children died it would be more comparable with the actual situation, and if you did it would make sense that he gave you those money even if you hate him.
And regarding your second post it shows a table of GDP = the wealth of the country. And with those numbers it makes even less sense that US isn't pledging more money than they are. In dollar per capita it would be more like this: Sweden gives 8.3$ per person and the US gives 1.1$ per person.
