interesting. thought it was classic os only. something with how the hard drive is setup, you know which system like HFS etc. works with blocks instead of real file size. e.g. a 2 byte file takes at least 1 block (i think in classic it's 4 Kb or something). quite inefficient sometimes. don't know the exact details but it has to do something with this.
