Nice. This was going to be another depressing winter for me here in Chicago, with daily dreams of a magic carpet to wisk me off to Breck, CO. I've not ridden in about 4 years, but during college while I lived in Texas, we went boarding a couple times each winter.
Snowboarding is the greatest thing I've ever gotten to do. I skateboarded for years so it was easy to pick up year to year.
My GF suggested we go to some places in southern Wisconsin this winter, she's never been riding before. There are a couple places that are pretty decent, and they have pretty good parks from what it looks like. She'll be learning and I'll be getting back into shape for riding.
Looking forward to it, it's not CO but it's something! :)
