    epoxy resin is very poisonous to breathe..unless you are into that sort of thing. if not, be sure to use a respirator (not dust mask).

    you will also need silicon rtv to mold with.

    - make your part (pendant or whatever) and primer it and sand it smooth or whatever finish you desire (sandblasted, polished, etc).

    -buy platinum rtv (blue) - other kinds react to resins.

    -buy casting resin, lower grades can turn yellow or not be clear. epoxy is good bet but not cheap.

    -build styrene box to put part in, suspended on a stick or whatever

    - pour rtv around it, making sure to tap bubbles out. thats the hard part.

    - sit for 24hrs

    - peel away styrene, make thin cut w/x-acto and remove part

    - mix + catalyse resin, pour into mold

    -in your case, you can insert photo into mold before casting resin.

    -hope that resin does not react to the material you put in

    -remove casted piece and sand as neccessary.

    ask the guy you buy rtv from how many parts you can do from one mold. i forgot the specs.
