In my experience, whenever something spooky happens with their shit, they're totally sucky about it. "Wow, sir. Your Airport doesn't work, huh? Very well, maybe there's something wrong about your wall you've put it on. Or did you check your other cables? Maybe they're not Apple certified? Oh, wait - you had SALAD for lunch today?
