"Chimping is a term used by pro sports shooters ( See video at http://www.sportsshooters.com ) that refers to elbowing the shooter next to you to show him your great pic. They say this is often accompanied by noises usually made by a monkey. Now anytime one is caught checking his or her work it is referd to as chimping."
