    if your body needs sleep, then you'l sleep.

    i get pretty bad insomnia.

    its cut down a lot since ive stopped having cups of tea or coffee at night. youd be surprised how much even a cup of tea can keep you awake.
    some sort of exercise during the day or evening will get u to sleep easier too.
    being sat in front of a comp all day then going to your bed doesnt mean to say youl sleep - u need to tire yourself out somehow.

    also if ur working from home, say in ur bedroom, then you should have a change of scenery before going to bed. so go chill in another room b4 bed or go out for a walk.

    failing that, have a joint or a wank. or both :P
