yes, most of mine never scabbed much at all. a thin layer of vitamin a+d ointment rubbed in like it was lotion aided in keeping it from itching, and overscabbing. don't apply too much, i've seen a few that had to be re-done as a result of putting way too much ointment on. keep strong - it'll stop.
